Problem: The client had a 6-month backlog in reconciling their main bank account. Their book balance and actual bank balance didn’t match, and they were unable to generate an accurate financial statement.
What I did:

Reviewed and backtracked all sales, expense, bank charge, and withdrawal records.

Created an organized Excel tracker to sort and validate all transactions by date.

Identified missing and unrecorded transactions that contributed to the mismatch.

Detected a ₱10,000 discrepancy between the bank statement and the book balance.

Reconciled all entries and delivered a clean, accurate bank reconciliation report.
